Candle Safety Tips

As much as we all LOVE to burn candles, it's very important to follow some simple safety rules to ensure that we are safely burning our candles.

Per the National Candle Association (https://candles.org/fire-safety-candles/) and The Wooden Wick Company (https://woodenwick.com/blogs/news/safety-first-our-top-candle-safety-tips):

*Never leave a burning candle unattended

*Never burn a candle on or near anything that may catch fire

*Keep burning candles away from kids and pets

*Avoid drafts and vents when burning your candle

*Do not touch or move a burning candle or if the wax is not hardened

*Remember to trim your wick to 1/4 inch prior to each burn for a cotton wick and 3/16" for a wooden wicked candle

* Never burn a candle longer than 4 hours for cotton wicked candles and no more than 2-3 hours for wooden wicks
